Obviously, historically, Philosophers are well known, and many are followed in many vascillations.
The obvious is that philosophy isn’t stated to be “truth” in the strict sense, more one persons, or group of persons theory on topics, etc.
I have no dates or time lines and no offense but is this homework?
The good news, at least in the sense of change is that Philosophy is a cyclical thing. It changes even in the one who espoused it, perhaps every ten years.
There is no real income in Philosophy, but certainly some temporary value perhaps.
I equate it to religion in one way. A Comfort Zone. In the religious context, we are usually born into it, we deal with it, and perhaps as we age/mature, even nurture it. When/If our comfort zone ceases being comfortable it’s likely we will seek another.
