lol! Here comes our western scepticism! We are not ready to believe unless its proved on our terms. we want to cross examine everything. The people in east go to a master and beleive him and thus learn from him. Our doubts halt our progress
I make no apology for being skeptical. Why not question the veracity of what anyone tells you to be the truth? Do you take everything you read or hear at face value? Believe EVERYTHING?
QiGong and Chi does NOT exist but in the minds of people doing it and those gullible enough to believe the quackery. Look up the ideomotor effect. See “g. dillman on national geographic” for explanations of the power of suggestion and chi.
i cant believe there are still people questioning the existence of chi! its not about the existence!! It is just the way nature works.
Things and especially movements simply work better when done flowingly and smoothly, and most important calmly. Why? Thats how nature works, this is a principle that helps you understand someting others call chi.
Don’t go thinking the chinese master have some mystical power, they dont do that either.
someone once said, the greatest secrets in the universe are secrets not because no one knows about them, but because people dont want to believe in them. sorta like the best hiding place is right in the open.
wu ji means literally: wu “void/without” ji “ultimate/limit”.
it is a taoist concept and refers to the all pervading energy in the world and universe, sometimes called life, and in Vedic culture called Brahman, Brahman effulgence, or Brahma jyoti.
othertimse just called Chi, Qi, or Ki.
this guy’s quite good. point in case is his shape for his age. obviously, he has lots of energy.
I was lucky enough to take a class with master Duan, Yes he moves that well. 80-90 does not matter. He moves better than most 30 year olds I know. I was also treated by him for a lower back injury. Healed within a day. You have to experience it to believe it, as with most training.
Being a skeptic is fine. But if it prevents you from gaining the evidence for yourself then it becomes a hinderence. Skeptics need to understand that humans are more than the 5% brain they are using. There is more to life than trying to be an intellectual.
It is ok to be skeptical/discerning. There is no competition as to who is right and wrong. We all come to Truth in our own time. This is true for all sides, so it is not for skeptics to disprove belief systems as much as it is not for believers to push their systems. Live and let live and do what is right for you. For anyone who doesn’t believe in this maybe should move onto to pastures they feel are greener.
Master Duan has TRUE amazing talent, BUT he is NOT over 90 years old and I have the proof, copies of both his and his wife’s passports and birth certificates when they stayed with us and taught at our facility several years ago. he freely gave them to us as we were trying to get him back into america and this was causing his visa to be denied. a rumor started by those wishing to capitalize on his abilities to make money and which he didn’t know how to get out of. due to his being badly used here, he now avoids most of us.
this guy is cool!
discreet , Great …
hey VERY kool :)
id like to b that healthy when i reach his age…if i even reach his age!!
~Alie~
what? No fighting?
well, I guess u cant say i dont believe in Qi.. he is the proof.. dude is 90 years old and when was the last time u saw a 90 year old moves like that?
how does anyone KNOW this guy is 90? because HE says so?
This is an official documentary. Of course the interviewer(s) would confirm his purported age. You are being too apprehensive.

yeah…. right. Since when does the media CARE about honesty as long as it boosts the ratings? You’re being very silly!
exactly and yet you understand what chi really is but your mind does not.

that guy is amazing, he doesn’t look even close 2 90
this is real I know… love that last phrase “chooses to share his vast knowledge with a wonderful sense of humor and joy”
He walks like a young dude.
i respect the master duan!
Master Duan is the real deal. He runs his clinic in the impoverish area of Beijing. Tell all the those phony ones to stop charging so much.
His Qi Gong is very good. One can see, that these movements are right.
