Everyone can be suggestible at times but it’s related to state/mood. So although anyone can be susceptible, at any particular time most people wouldn’t be. That’s why hypnotists spent time to recognize state (and have tests to help with that). Also intelligence isn’t as big a factor as you might think.

hi there i’ve seen some bs trance but your visual seems reasonable & agreeable. you like people with good sense. tell me, what do you mean when you say pattern break or w/e do you mean the fake hakeshake than to water bottle will make the unconsuion guy into a confused state. the guy is already in a unconsuion confuseing state to being with just from the fake hankshake it self. are you sure you dont mean it will make him into a deeper unconsious ????????????????

A pattern break is interrupting an unconscious pattern like a handshake (which results in confusion). He also confuses the guy by asking directions to different places each time he asks and probably several other things. Once confused the man is more suggestible. In the end though he only acts on Derren’s suggestions because Derren has built a bit of trust and is leading him. People won’t give their stuff up to someone they have no trust built for even if they are confused.

Please don’t leave those negative connotations at the beginning, it makes the person think that there is a 1/100 chance that what you are saying is right, and it makes them not want to watch video at all.
