if you’re not even going to try to beiieve DB’s show-opening claim (no actors, no stooges) then why bother continuing to watch? but let’s consider that all these people are actors. how much money would it cost to buy all their silences? and why hasn’t one come out and exposed the fraud? hmm?
Darren Brown himself claims to be an illusionist and says everything he does is scientific and straight forward. However, though I believe that nothing he does is supernatural as he says I believe it is just as much his job to disprove the supernatural as it is to fool gullible viewers, I think that man is an actor, but hell anythings theoretically possible.
Don’t worry, I felt the same way so I was relieved to find out what total BS the Derren Brown shows are. He’s very charismatic but Derren Brown is a fraudster; all the “hypnosis” stunts are 100% play-acting and the “mind-control” tricks have nothing much to do with psychology and everything to do with traditional magic tricks that he dresses up as something more mysterious by EDITING the videos. He uses cheap camera tricks, which I find inexcusable.
You can say it’s fake but the movie ‘Derren Brown - Subliminal Advertising’ is really possible, It’s proven at my study Psychology. SO some things might be fake but not all of them
Yes, read Simon Singh’s blog. He’s a friend of D.B but he doesn’t approve of the way he deceives people about how his tricks work.
There ARE a few real psychological tricks like the “which hand is the coin in?” bet: A person’s nose will point very slightly to the coin-hand as they move their hands apart.
But most of his tricks are just normal magic tricks. David Blaine is also guilty of camera trickery.

He does use cheap tricks btw. If he actually did this to people he would be considered a world class A-hole.
