   you can initiate yourself? I know tons of people studying that don’t want to be in a Coven.

   Covens can have up to 13 members. When they get larger than that, it is best to hive off. Covens can have less than 13. You can also have a circle or small study group if you don’t want a coven. You can do a self-initiation or self-dedication instead. “An’ it harm none, do what ye will,” is the whole of the law.
