The only people saying the universe was created from nothing are creationists. Science doesn’t say that. The funny part is creationists say that and at the same time say a magic man created it. What hypocrites.
We know the age of the universe because we can measure the speed and direction of galaxies as they travel away from a single point. By simply calculating we can wind back to a time and a point in space. Answer 14 billion years.

why would ppl who evolve from some big bang belive in some God makes no sense to me,we would be Gods,supreme, yes considering ur arrogance we would be ,but hasnt it ever occured to u that maybe its because ppl did walk with God ,just like he said back in the days,eyewitness events unfolding ,prophecies fullfilling ,miracles happening ,to drag this thing (bible) for so long ago -it should be dead ,obsolete -dust in the wind,but no it gets better and better,it still lives just as its maker said !
I dont have a prob with what a person believes ,my prob is when the truth is presented,dont make light of it -yes i once belived in santa,never got anything from him, so that rules him out,however God is entirely different-i have the bible from him,and its the most historically correct book out there period, prophecy seperates fact from fiction in a nut shell,if i was told i would see something tomorrw or nxt year and it happens,on several occasions,id be a jack ass not to believe,
how do u know that the big bang event happened so long ago. is there any proof that 14billion years have passed. as i said before science has said that something cannot be created from nothing. thus god created it and knew what he was doin with it. then created lifeform. and creating humans in his image, not let us evolve from an ape. and y woulda non believer be here watchin this if u say u dont believe. i think u do believe but dont want to admit it.

Go and google Hugh Ross, one of the very well known Christian scientist in the forefront research on the origin of life – Big Bang, Evolution, even Primordial Soup. He is trying to link the findings of sciene with Creation and Creator using Bible as the reference point.
It is not necessasy sciene and religion/creation has be to divergence. Both can go concurrently without conflict. as I said earlier – science is a journey to find out how the Creator did it.
I believe most Christians don’t really believe everything in the Bible. For example, I’ve heard many of my Christian friends agreeing that Noah’s Ark is completely ridiculous even we used the latest in moden transportation technology and knowledge about animal nutrition etc.
I agree completely with Einstein. The Bible is nothing more than a collection of childish fairy tales.
But religion is great for those who can’t undestand science and really don’t care if they actually know the truth.
Christians desperate to remain credible deny science, particularly evolution or reinterpret the bible so that most of it is meaningless. You do have to laugh if only to remain sane in the mad world of religious belief.
The universe clearly started by the Big Bang event about 14 billion years ago. You mean God triggered that event through some mysterious magic and then left the laws of physics to control the processes that followed?
Yes, such theory can still be possible…although not what the Bible says.
But why did God let life exist on this planet for billions of years before he turned clay into humans? And why did he make so many hominid generations? And why fool us with DNA matches? LOL hahaha

However the primordial soup has been worked on for centuries but just couldnt be ready to be served to the public. You know why? Besides you surely realise there are many many athesits who have spouted their hatred against their supposed imaginary God in Youtube. You may be any exception case, but you can not deny this fact.
Atheism is not some unity of opinion against the Christian God. Nobody teaches atheists what to think. We just have one thing in common: We don’t believe in these things.
Some might express hatred, but you can not say that as a general feeling for atheists.
To me it’s very simple…all religions, no exception, are about brainwashing people into false myth based belief systems following a general psychological concept of a father figure enabling faith using fear and motivating benefits.

I don’t blame anyone’s design. The human body is the result of evolution which is continuous work in progress; so nothing is perfect.

The two tenets of atheists – 1. They dont believe God exist 2. Yet they hate God so much. Very contradicting!!!! Look at what the four horsemen of Atheism have written in their books. They hates God so much so that they blame God for everything wrong in this world!
You can not deny the very fact that in their own ill conceived thought – they hate an imaginary God so much as thought He is real. The irony of Atheism!!!
Actually the circumcision was more of a symbolic representation for God and Israelis to be seperated themselves from the surrounding Pagan Nations. The New Testament Christians have no such need since the circumcision is in the heart of His believers to be seperated from d world, no more d physical representation.
Agreed and that is why d circumcision only happen at the puberty age when d penis and its head are almost fully developed. When it is fully developed, d skins r actually redundant.
Both God and Satan are imaginary things. I don’t think atheists hate these things. They just don’t believe in them. Also they don’t believe in Allah, Zeus, Thor and the many other Gods we humans have made up.
I certainly don’t hate any of these. While science can eaily prove the Bible wrong, it can not completely rule out the existence of some sort of God that operates in unknown dimensions being behind the Big Bang and the universe.
Such still possible God is however quite different.

May be u have not seen d inflammation caused by some tight foreskins. For some fortunate ones, d foreskin managed to roll back, uncovered d head and proper cleaning can be done, but for those with tight foreskins, there will be delay in time for the roll back and consequently the inability for the head to be cleaned properly usually result in frequent inflammation. Nothing is perfect now since the penetration of sins into the this world and its creatures. So dont blame His Design

yeewooihan, Some years ago people thought circumcision have some hygienic benefits but if that’s the point then the Bible is extremely poor in pointing out what all that foreskin talk is really about. Besides, today the procedure is not recommended.
And to be frank, if God designed humans and later told them to be circumcised then what type of bad design is that?
And don’t forget that God also defines a Christian as someone who believes without circumcision (RO 4:9-10 and CO 7:17-19).

as it says in the bible when even one of his apostles did not believe that jesus resurected, he appeared before him and he believed and jesus said you believe because you have seen, blessed are those who have not seen and believe. science has also said that something cannot be created from nothing, therefore how did this universe come to be if there was nothing to begin with?
