this kills magic. not only because it reveals the way its done but it ends with things like ‘come on…you didn’t really think it was magic’ to make the spectator feel stupid. the next time the spectator sees magic, he will NEVER think its real or be able to appreaciate it because he is conditioned to feel like a fucking idiot when being amazed.
That’s true. But it’s frustrating as hell not knowing how it’s done. Some of the tricks in these vidz aren’t done exactly the way David Blaine does it though. And even though I know how these tricks are done, I still love watching them done.
