For it wont matter that isnt highly respected degree it doesnt matter they could go to community college for that isnt highly respected degree and save lot of.
For that and where you go to school for it wont matter they could go to community college for philosophy.

I agree with Meg, a philosophy major and career path will bring you “work” at home. Seriously, all that you can do is write books, become a debate coach, become a famous philosopher, or become a philosophy teacher. Everyone who has a philosophy major also studies another area. Those jobs I listed are what most famous philosophers are remembered as, but its rare for you to become one. It never hurts to dream though.
